Roadside assistance

Modified on Wed, 1 Jul, 2020 at 4:57 AM

All Vehicles are registered for 24 hour roadside assistance. This covers all mechanical and non-mechanical breakdowns. The AA will require the Hirer to pay the relevant call out fee at the time the breakdown is reported.

If the breakdown is mechanical and does not involve any error or fault of the Hirer or any other person (in the opinion of the AA), the AA will refund the relevant call out fee to the Hirer (for example engine faults, electrical faults, cooling system and related Vehicle recovery).

If the breakdown is non-mechanical or the Hirer is at fault (in the opinion of the AA), the Hirer will be liable to pay the relevant call out fees charged by the AA (for example being out of fuel, incorrect fuelling, wheels and tyres, keys lost or locked inside Vehicle and flat batteries as a result of the lights or keys being left on).
